A Harlingen area man's decision to supersize his Whopper combo at a local Burger King was thwarted Monday when his wife deftly blocked the attempt.
Bob and Mary Callisto had stopped with their two children for a quick and dissatisfying high cholesterol meal during a break from the day's activities when Bob briefly considered up-sizing his fries and coke from the standard medium to the King. His wife preempted the size modification by reminding her husband of the deep fried triple chocolate double layer cake that they were going to have for dessert when they got home.
